Audience Survey Analysis

Question 1 The question ask was “What is your gender?” 64% of the audience where Female and the remaining 46% where Male. This shows that It Is mainly Females who responded to our survey. Our film is aimed at both males and females.

Question 2 The question asked was “What is your age?”. The majority of the people we asked said that they where aged between , this is around the age of our target audience. This question provided a range of responses which provides accuracy to the question.

Question 3 The question asked was “How often do you watch short films”. 66% of people said rarely. This is what I would have expected. This means that our production needs to be able to attract their attention, this should make them interested in our film.

Question 4 The question asked was “Can you think of any memorable short films?” We asked this question o that we could research into what made an audience interested in a film and how was that interest maintained.

Question 5 The next question asked was “What did you like about it?” this question refers to the previous question. Its purpose was the same as the last question.

Question 6 The question asked was “Our film is about living without electricity, how would you react to permanent power loss?” Our film is about how many people react as the power fails, this questions will help to analyse the situations in our film as well as provide us with new things that we can add to our film if we need to.

Question 7 The question asked was “Could you live without your phone?” 57% of people said yes while 43% said no. The purpose of this question was to find out if our film mimics how most people would live without basic technology.

Question 8 The question asked was “What genre of music would you like to see in our film?” Indie won.

Question 9 The question asked was “What are your favourite genres of film?” Comedy won by far. Action came second.
