2. How old are you? Here I asked how old people who took the survey were this gave me a clear indication of what age bracket would buy my magazine. The people I asked were aged around 23-18.

3. What gender are you? When conducting my research I handed out 10 questionnaires however only 2 out of 10 people were male and the majority were female, therefore this indicates that my main target audience are females.

4. What genre of magazines do you enjoy reading? Out of the ten people I asked, the majority preferred lifestyle magazines, my magazine will be about both fashion and lifestyle. As I will be talking about the Indian lifestyle and fashion.

5. How often do you read magazines? The majority of people I asked regularly read magazines, therefore this shows that they have a clear mind of what the would like to see in a magazine.

6. What is the main reason why you buy a magazine? There feedback that I gained from this questionnaire was that people often buy magazines for many reasons. “ I often buy magazine for fashion inspiration, and to see what the latest trends are” “I enjoy seeing what new makeup, or beauty brans they are able to provide along with the magazine” “I love lifestyle magazines, this gives me new ideas”

7. What do you expect in a magazine? I asked individuals that they expected to see in a magazine, I got a variety of different answers. “I expect to see a professional magazine cover that is very eye catching” “ I expect it to have reasonable price as well as the magazine being good quality” “ I expect to have a free gift or sample product with the magazine”

8. How much would you be willing to pay for a regional magazine? The majority of people would pay £1-£2 for the magazine as they see this as being a reasonable price.

9. What is your employment status? The majority of people were employed or students, they expressed that they enjoy reading magazine I their spare time.

10. What colour theme do you think would suit a magazine the most? There are a verity of colours schemes that possible be used, I got a vide range of feed back. “As the magazine’s main target audience is women therefore colours such as pink or purple would best suit the magazine.” “based in the idea of the magazine being Indian themed, I believe traditional colures such as red and gold would best suit the magazine.” “you should use a variety of colours that will stand out to the audience such as red, gold an silver.”
