CONTENTS Abstract Objectives Block diagram Methodology Advantages & disadvantages Applications Conclusion

1.ABSTRACT: Automotive multi-sensor modules, capable of vehicle-wide communications. Proper sensor grouping, packaging and device placement are key issues in the implementation of smart sensor modules. Sensors that are candidates for clustering include temperature, break cable fault identification, door open or close sensors. The capability to provide Xbee wireless communication protocols is satisfy the majority of automotive systems. System integration must be considered when employing a smart sensor network throughout an auto-mobile in a cost effective manner. This paper will cover the module issues associated with sensing, packaging, electronics, communication and system integration.

2.OBJECTIVES: The prime objective is to select the appropriate wireless network to collect the data from sensors placed in the vehicle , this system monitor the seat belt , Door close or open, & Break cable fault detection.

3.BLOCK DIAGRAM :

4. METHODOLOGY: A block diagram which is shown above vehicle which is monitors seat belt, open or close the door &break cable. Any variation in parameters it gives that signal to the MSP 430 controller, and then the MSP 430 controller performs the required function and displays the message. At the same time MSP430 will generate the output that is fed to buffer IC 4050, buffer stores and given to the driver IC 2003 in driver current will amplifies and voltage will inverts with the help of Darlington circuit of driver IC to drive the relay. Then signal is given to the output load for indication purpose.

5. ADVANTAGES & DISADVANTAGES: As a security device for all vehicles. Also for automatic operation of the gates. More useful in remote areas. This project we can operate Easily .

DISADVANTAGES: In this project usage of relays leads to consume more power.

6.APPLICATIONS: Automotive Applications. Home and Office Applications. Home and office automation. Smart environment. Environmental Applications. Military Applications. Monitoring friendly forces, equipment, and ammunition. Battlefield surveillance. Reconnaissance of opposing forces and terrain.

7.CONCLUSION:   Automotive multi-sensor modules, capable of vehicle wide communications as a means of lowering the cost of smart sensor implementation. Sensor grouping, packaging and device placement are key issues in the cost effective implementation of smart sensor modules. Sensor candidates for multi-sensor modules include temperature, break cable fault identification, door open or close sensors. The capability to provide Xbee wireless communication protocols is required to satisfy the plurality of automotive systems, and examples of CAN and J1850 electronics were shown. System integration must be considered when employing a smart sensor network through-out an automobile in a cost conscious manner.
