What is a Credit? A student needs 23.5 credits to graduate. An elective is any course that is not required and That you choose to take, such as: / Art / Foreign Language / Business / Consumer Sciences Note that some electives may be taken only after Grade 9 (such as Tech School), and others are specific to grades 11 and 12.
