16 Selecting Elective Courses Students should review the listing of available elective course offerings listed on the backside of the course selection card. In-depth descriptions of these courses are found in the High School Program of Studies. Students will make 1-3 elective course selections. Either 1.0 credit elective of Foreign Language or Ceramics or two.5 credit electives. Students participating in the music program will also select the appropriate music electives. Elective courses should be chosen with your graduation requirements in mind and based on your interest and future goals. Elective courses that students select will be entered into the computer and will appear on your Course Selection Verification Sheet. Remember, these are only requests and not a guarantee that you will be placed in this class. Be sure to include “Alternate Selections” on your course selection card.
