Overview Elements of LCAP Eight Key Priorities Community Input Process Board Input Next Steps

Community Involvement Process A governing board of a school district shall consult with teachers, principals, administrators, other school personnel, local bargaining units of the school district, parents, and pupils in developing a local control and accountability plan. [EC 52060(g)] Community Conversation on Learning Input from following committees DAC/DELAC Common Core Curriculum Council Science Leadership Team GATE Council PBIS District Leadership Team Home and School Club Presidents District Assistance Survey (DAS); Academic Performance Survey (APS)

Conditions for Learning: Basic Services Cambrian Successes Strategic Plan All staff are highly qualified or on plan to become highly qualified Sufficient materials per Williams Act Maintenance Plan; Facilities Master Plan Degree to which teachers of the school district are appropriately assigned, fully credentialed in the subject area and for the pupils they are teaching Every student has sufficient access to standards-aligned instructional materials School facilities are maintained in good repair Board Input

Conditions for Learning: Implementation of State Standards Cambrian Successes Strategic Plan CCSS Implementation plan and PD GLAD ELD instruction Implementation of academic content and performance standards adopted by state board (CCSS), including how programs and services will enable English learners to access common core academic content standards and English Language Development standards for all pupils Board Input

Conditions for Learning: Course Access Cambrian Successes Strategic Plan Core and Elective Course offerings at Price Core subjects at elementary sites Music and PE programs Art Vistas Project Lead the Way Board Input The extent to which pupils have access to, and are enrolled in, a broad course of study that includes all of the subject areas described in Education Code (English, social science, foreign language, physical education, science, mathematics, visual and performing arts, applied arts, career technical education, and automobile driver education)

Pupil Outcomes: Pupil Achievement Cambrian Successes Strategic Plan High scoring district with APIs well over 800 Excellent percentage of EL students becoming English proficient (AMAOs) Rigorous reclassification criteria and process and high rate of reclassified students Performance on standardized tests Score on Academic Performance index Share of English learners that become English proficient English learner reclassification rate Board Input

Pupil Outcomes: Other Pupil Outcomes Cambrian Successes Strategic Plan Consistent use of benchmark assessments Revision of benchmarks (CCSS) Data walls Consistent participation in MARS Placement articulation between elementary and middle school and middle school and high school Pupil outcomes in the subject areas described in Education Code (grades 1 to 6) English, mathematics, social science, science, visual and performing arts, health, physical education, and other subjects as determined by the governing board Board Input

Engagement: Parent Involvement Cambrian Successes Strategic Plan Strong site English Language Advisory Committees (ELAC) District English Language Advisory Committee (DELAC) and District Advisory Committee (DAC) GATE Council Parent Engagement Committee and workshops Involved School Site Councils Latino nights and other school events Efforts to seek parent input in decision making at district and school site(s) Promotion of parent participation in programs for unduplicated pupils and special needs subgroups Board Input
