BIOLOGY CLASSROOM PROCEDURES

You will receive 2 copies of this. One is for your binder, and the other is to be signed and turned in for your file. This will be your first grade. 50 pts for your signature, and 50 pts. For your parents/guardian signature.

CLASS RULES: 1. BE ON TIME FOR CLASS 2. BRING A BLUE OR BLACK PEN OR PENCIL TO WRITE WITH 3. BRING NOTEBOOK/WORKBOOK/HOMEWORK EVERY DAY 4. GO TO REST ROOM BEFORE OR AFTER CLASS NOT DURING 5. GO TO LOCKER BEFORE OR AFTER CLASS NOT DURING 6. BE RESPECTFUL TO OTHERS IN CLASS 7. NO DISRUPTIVE TALKING 8. NO POKING OR TAKING OTHERS PROPERTY 9. NO WRITING ON DESKS OR BOOKS 10. NO FOOD OR DRINK IN ROOM / except for breakfast 1st period

GRADING POLICY: LAB IS MANDITORY FOR BIOLOGY; PART OF YOUR BIOLOGY GRADE WILL BE BASED ON YOUR LAB WORK. ALL LABS MUST BE COMPLETED TO TAKE THE REGENTS EXAM AT THE END OF THE YEAR.

QUIZZES—20% TESTS—30% PROJECTS/ACTIVITIES—20% LAB-- 25% HOMEWORK— 5% LATE HOMEWORK IS A ZERO!!!!!!!

QUIZES MAY NOT BE MADE UP, BUT AT LEAST 2 QUIZ GRADES WILL BE DROPPED EVERY MARKING PERIOD. TESTS MUST BE MADE UP WITHIN A WEEK!!!!!! LATE PROJECTS WILL HAVE POINTS DEDUCTED!!!!! LABS MUST BE MADE UP BY THE END OF EACH MARKING PERIOD!!!!! THE FIRST DAY OF A NEW LAB MAY NOT BE MISSED FOR ANY REASON!!!!!!! FIELD TRIP RELEASE FORMS WILL ONLY BE SIGNED IF YOU HAVE AN AVERAGE OF 80 OR BETTER.!!!!!!!!!!!!
