7. Classroom Expectations Homework must be turned in on time No late homework – Must be passed in when asked for- If absent must turn in homework at the beginning of class the day you return (5-10 points) Major assignments – Five points deducted for each day late

8. Class Expectations Please check the online grading system frequently. Missing assignments will be visible as well as progress. One tardy per marking period Class grade of 50 points for each marking period – Loss of points for missing supplies, off task etc.

11. Classroom Procedures Each student will need a binder and notebook for this class. A single subject notebook that fits in three ring binder or one part of a multiple subject notebook. Books are available to be signed out if you need one. You must bring a writing utensil each day. Final copies of papers will be typed. There are pencils, pens, and erasers available to borrow. If everyone returns what they use they will be available all year. If not you are on your own.

12. Semester midterms and finals Students will have two exams and two projects for their marking period evaluations. One project will involve public speaking and one will be a writing project.
