Designing Shoes Part 1- Lesson 6

Learning Objective ALL will draw one design idea using ideas from Hundertwasser. ALL will annotate their design ideas. MOST will draw a second design idea.

Design Order Divide your page into 4 boxes. Page title: Design Sheet. Draw 1 design ideas to a high standard. Annotate ideas with colour and material ideas e.g. sequins, beads. Draw a 2nd design idea to a high standard.

Annotate your work (F and H band) What does annotation mean? Annotations are comments, notes, explanations about your work. You may use arrows to point to particular parts of your shoe explaining a certain part. You also need to give a more detailed explanation about your design. Answer the following questions: Which culture or shoe brand e.g. Nike inspired the shape of your shoe? And why? How have you used size, shape and line to create pattern in your designs? How has Hundertwasser influenced your work? What accessories will you use to decorate your design and why? (e.g. laces, sequins, beads etc) How could you improve your design?
