Classroom Policies Detentions  Each detention will last 15 minutes  Must be pre-arranged with me  If you do not attend-automatic call home  Before school  After school  During lunch  Bring your lunch from home or go to the cafeteria first & bring it back to my room. *Note that your detention still lasts 15 mins*

Classroom Policies Late Work  Essays/Projects are due on the assigned date. Absences do not get you extra time.  On all other assignments late deductions will be as follows:  1 week late-90% credit  2 weeks late-80% credit  3 weeks or more-70% credit

Classroom Policies Passes  Passes for bathroom and drinking fountain will not be given during the first or last ten minutes of class.  Only 1 student may be out of the classroom at a time.  No passes will be given during instructional time.  Any abuse of passes will result in student losing his/her privileges.

Classroom Policies Cell Phones/i-Pods  Turn off and put away all electronics upon entering the room!  No cell phone use during class  In case of emergencies, speak with and obtain teacher permission before class  i-Pods used with teacher permission

Classroom Policies Cell Phones/i-Pods Disregarding the policy for electronic devices is considered inappropriate classroom behavior. Therefore, the consequences will be the same.

Classroom Policies Make-up work when absent 1.Check the make-up notebook. 2.Read the entry for the day that you were gone. It will explain what was done in class and list any assignments or homework. 3.Check the folder for any handouts & take as needed.

If after speaking with your classmate you still do not understand, then ask me.
