National Occupational Standards (NOS) Project 2012/13 Skills for Care along with other UK partners are currently supporting Skills for Care and Development in this project which has 2 elements: To review the current NOS for Leadership and Management in Care Services (LMCS) To develop NOS for Inspectors of Social Care Services The project is working against tight timelines and must be complete by February NOS will be drafted within the month of August and redrafted and quality assured in October following the consultation phase. They will then be submitted to UKCES for approval before the end of 2012.
