Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Adult) for England 501/1699/X Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Adult) for England 501/1607/1 Level 4 Diploma in Adult Care (England) 601/6113/9 Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young Peoples Services (England) 601/4438/5* Adults management, Adults residential and Adult advanced practice pathways only* All expire for registration on the 29th December 2017

5 Level 2 Diploma in Care (England)
The Pearson Level 2 Diploma in Care (England) has a minimum of 46 credits and 460 hours total qualification time (TQT) Rules of combination: A minimum of 2 credits and maximum of 7 credits from Group B1 (knowledge) A minimum of 15 credits from Group B2 (competence) Specification will contain mandatory units only, all optional units will be saved as PDF documents and will be available on the website for centres to download as appropriate per learner

6 Level 2 Diploma in Care (England)
9 new mandatory units in line with the Adult Care Worker standard Communication in care settings Personal development in care settings Equality and inclusion in care settings Duty of care Safeguarding and protection in care settings Responsibilities of a care worker Implement person-centred approaches in care settings Health, safety and wellbeing in care settings Handle information in care settings No pathways as before, learners choose appropriate optional units View DRAFT structure

7 Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care (England)
The Pearson Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care (England) has a minimum of 58 credits and 580 hours TQT. Rules of combination: A minimum of 2 credits and maximum of 7 credits from Group B1 (knowledge) A minimum 23 credits from Group B2 (competence) Specification will contain mandatory units only, all optional units will be saved as PDF documents and will be available on the website for centres to download as appropriate per learner

8 Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care (England)
9 new mandatory units in line with the Lead Adult Care Worker Standard Promote communication in care settings Promote personal development in care settings Promote equality and inclusion in care settings Duty of care in care settings Safeguarding and protection in care settings Responsibilities of a care worker Promote person-centred approaches in care settings Promote health, safety and wellbeing in care settings Promote effective handling of information in care settings No pathways as before, learners choose appropriate optional units View DRAFT structure

9 Pearson Level 4 Diploma in Adult Care (England)
The Pearson Level 4 Diploma in Adult Care (England) has a minimum of 70 credits and 700 hours total qualification time (TQT), Rules of combination A minimum of 6 credits from Group B1 (knowledge) A minimum of 27 credits from Group B2 (competence) Specification will contain mandatory units only, all optional units will be saved as PDF documents and will be available on the website for centres to download as appropriate per learner

11 mandatory units to support the Lead Practitioner in Adult Care Standard Advanced Communication Skills in Care Settings Personal and Professional Development in Care Settings Equality and Diversity in Care Settings Understand Safeguarding and Protection in Care Settings Person-centred Assessment and Planning to Improve Individual Outcomes Understand Personalisation in Care Settings Health and Safety in Care Settings Professional Practice in Care Settings Develop, Maintain and Use Records and Reports Partnership Working in Care Settings Safeguard Children and Young People Who Are Present in Care Settings No pathways, learners choose appropriate optional units View DRAFT structure

11 Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care (England)

Level 2 Diploma in Care (England): Centre must follow the Joint Skills for Care and Skills for Health Assessment Principles for the Level 2 Diploma in Care (RQF) in England (October 2017 V1) Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care (England) Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care (England) Centres must follow the Skills for Care and Development Assessment Principles (March 2016)
