2 What is SEO? SEO = Search Engine Optimization Search Engine = software system that is designed to search for information on the World Wide Web. SEO is the process of improving the visibility of a website or a web page in a search engine.

4 How Search Engine Work? 1.Crawling : is the process of fetching all the web pages linked to a web site. It uses software call Crawler, Spider, or Googlebot (google crawler). 2.Indexing : is the process of creating index for all the fetched web pages and keeping them into a giant database from where it can later be retrieved. 3.Processing : When a search request comes, the search engine processes it. It compares the search string in the search request with the indexed pages in the database.

5 How Search Engine Work? 4.Calculating Relevancy : since it is likely that more than one pages contains the search string, so the search engine starts calculating the relevancy of each of the pages in its index to the search string. 5.Retrieving Results : the last step in search engines' activities is retrieving the best matched results. Basically, it is nothing more than simply displaying them in the browser.

11 How to SEO? Meta Tags (Keyword & Description) – They are the basic and very important that search engine must look to be displayed first. They are dependent in your web page. – Your keyword should be relevance to your website as Search Engine take your keyword to put in their index. – Your description should be described about your website. Note: Keyword and Description are limited character. They recommend keyword 1000 character or 45 words, and description characters or 25 words.

Refine the Titles and Headers – Title and header is very important for Search Engine take it to be displayed in your search result title. – Title is placing as a “ ” tag to show about your page title.
