Breakfast, lunch, tea and dinner - the British usually have them at home. Typical British meals are:  Fish and chips – are not considered to be healthy (doesn´t contain fibres)  Roast meat (pork, beef or lamb) usually served with potatoes (boiled or roast) some vegetables like peas, carrots and gravy (the fat and juices from the meat mixed with other ingredients).  Tikka masala is the most eaten national meal today. It´s originated in India.  Drinks: fizzy drinks containing sugar are unhealthy, should be replaced by mineral waters. Obesity in an increasing problem in Britain. It is necessary to start in schools with changes.

2 heads romaine lettuce 80 g parmesan 2-3 skinless chicken breasts 4 tbsp olive oil 1 fresh baguette salt and pepper 2 garlic cloves Preparation Wash the lettuce in cold water, dry it and separate the leaves. Tear them by hand (don't use a knife!) into bits. Wash the chicken breasts and cut them in half horizontally. You will then have thin fillets. Season them with freshly ground salt and pepper. Cut the baguette into rough cubes for the croutons. Chop the garlic (or use a garlic press). Prepare a big frying pan with a lid and heat the oven to 200C.

Dressing 60 ml olive oil 6 tbsp lemon juice 6 anchovies fillets 1 tbsp Dijon mustard 2 tbsp grated parmesan cheese 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce 1 tbsp mayonnaise / ˈ w ʊ st ə ʃ ə / The secret to a Caesar salad is its dressing. Grate the parmesan cheese yourself (don't use ready-grated) and put all the dressing ingredients into a mini blender and blend until smooth. You can adjust the taste with more lemon juice, mustard or mayo. Make the chicken Use the hot pan, add the other chopped garlic clove and the rest of oil, fry the chicken breasts from both sides until golden. Put the lid on and leave the pan on the cooker for one minute. Remove the pan with the lid still on, turn the fillets and let them sit in the pan (with the lid on) for about 2 more minutes.
