Community Service Criteria Lose up to 35 Points if you do not follow these requirements (Unless enrolled in PST 110): Complete 5 hours of community service by 11/22 Sites must be inside of Onondaga County, but must be off-campus. Sites may NOT be run by a fraternity or sorority. Sites must have a mission of public service (i.e. nonprofit, governmental agency) Walks and fundraisers do NOT count as community service, no matter what they are held for. In certain circumstances, you may be compensated for your service (i.e. Literacy Corps) Service may NOT be done by working for a politician Complete the Final Community Service Form that can be found on the PAF 101 website and get it SIGNED BY YOUR CONTACT PERSON Attach short answer questions to the Service form NOTE: Students do not GAIN 35 points from fulfilling the 5 hour requirement, they can only LOSE points

PST 110: Practicum in Public Policy 1 credit class meets 5 times throughout the semester – 9/17, 10/8, 10/22, 11/12, 12/3 35 hour community service requirement, instead of 5 hour requirement for 101 Opportunities include: food kitchens, senior citizen homes, working with youth, or create your own Enroll ASAP- add deadline for this class is 9/16 Financial & Academic Drop Deadline – 9/16

Late Paper Policy…AGAIN Module 1 is due at 12:45 on 9/13 If your Module is late… -Lose 5 points off your module grade if it is handed in by 4:30 on 9/13 (Module due date) -Lose 20 points off your Module grade if handed in by the beginning of the next class. PAPERS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED BEYOND THE END OF THE NEXT CLASS AFTER MODULE 1 IS DUE -Example; if a module is due Monday and you do not turn it in, you have until Wednesday to turn it in. After that you will receive a 0.

Why is the TPE Reference Page Important? Last semester, the average grade for the reference page was an F. So watch out for the TPE.
