Roles and Responsibilities Check Off/Update By now, you may have already completed these tasks: informed teachers of the different components within each genre. provided exemplars of published authors and other students of each genre (if requested). Note: a sample of the entire anthology is posted on the literary anthology website— teachers may see examples in the anthology for each genre and grade Stand Up, Hand Up. Pair Up

Format Agreement Make sure each entry is typed in Verdana font, size 12 and the title is size 14. Each entry needs to be double spaced. Bold the title and the info on bottom of entry

Entries for Submission Preparing the Winning Entries for Submission

PRINT ONE COPY SAVE ONE COPY The printed copy WILL NOT contain any of the student’s identifying information So, to identify the student, you will paper clip the entry form to the printed copy. The entry form will include the genre, school code, genre code, entry number, etc. The saved copy WILL contain the student’s identifying information The flash drive is used for the publication of the anthology. Each submission is saved on the flash drive using the code that is on the judging form...so that it can be matched back to the work.  When the coordinator opens the Word file, he/she will find the completed entry with all the information.

Flash Drives One folder for each grade In each folder is a folder for each genre

Once you open your flash drive, you should see the folders organized by grade level (6-8 for middle school and 9-12 for high school). You will also see a folder where you will save your tracking sheet—once you receive it via email.

You will then see a folder per genre for the grade level.

Judges Each Anthology Coordinator is responsible for bringing in 3-5 judges for the spring judging Submit names to Mari Sosa Please email names in by March 31st You will then receive the invitation that you will deliver (email) to your judges
