Cal State Apply- Four Quadrants

Add High School SMHS CEEB Code: 050883 Dates of attendance: 08/2014 to 06/2018 (if at SMHS since 9th grade) Follow the steps below to add your high school(s) to the application. Be sure to add each high school you attended individually.  Click Add a High School.  Use the Country, State/Province, and City drop-downs to narrow down your search. Enter your school's name and click Search for Your School.  Click This is the My School next to your school name. If your school does not appear in the list, click None of these are my school. Select your high school's term type from the drop-down.  Enter the dates of the first and last terms you attended.  Indicate if you graduated or expect to graduate from this school.  Click Save This School.  Add more high schools, as needed.  You will be asked to confirm if you want your courses to migrate from californiacolleges.edu to Cal State Apply (Not yet available) You are attending San Marcos High School in San Marcos, Ca NOT Santa Barbara or Texas.

Add a grade level Add a Grade Level Add the grade levels in which you attended this school.  Select the grade level you took the courses in. The school and year drop-down lists are automatically populated with the information you entered in the High Schools Attended section.  Click the Include Summer checkbox if the coursework you are entering includes courses taken during the summer before the selected grade level.  Click the green checkmark to save.

Add a course Enter the course title exactly as it appears on your transcript.  If the course was completed, enter the letter grade you received for the course during this term. Or, if you received a "pass" rather than a letter grade, enter "Pass." Enter "Planned" if you have not yet taken the course. Enter "In Progress" if you are currently taking the course. If you did not take the course during this term, leave the field blank.  Select the course type.  Click the green checkmark to save. Continue adding courses until all your coursework for the grade level is entered.  Click Add Grade Level and repeat the steps above to add additional grade levels and courses until your high school transcript is completely entered.  7th and 8th Grade Coursework- If you took Algebra 1, Geometry, or a Language Other Than English (LOTE) in the 7th or 8th grade, report your course(s) and grade(s) earned as 9th grade.

Add an achievement In this section you can enter any relevant professional or academic achievements, such as awards, honors, scholarships, etc. that you'd like your programs to know about. This section is optional and does not factor into any admissions decisions.

Tips You will find your SSID on top of your SMHS transcript (called state ID). Be sure to enter in the high schools that you have attended and Palomar (Under the College Info Tab) if you took a class there. List additional non a-g courses within grade level For any course on your transcript without a star select “none” under select a course type (star is to the left of your course title on your transcript)

When entering in test information be sure to include scores. If you are taking a test in the future (Oct/Nov) put that date on your application and leave your score blank When taking SAT test use the code 3594 to send scores to ALL CSU campuses. Scores must be sent directly from College Board. If you send your ACT score to one CSU campus, all campuses will have access to your score. Letters of recommendation are not accepted for the CSU’s.

Check your personal professional email accounts every day Check your personal professional email accounts every day. This is the official communication method of CSU. Check your spam folder!!!!!! Don’t use your SMUSD email account Track application status, “To Do” items, and Due Dates through campus accounts and email. Some CSU’s are now asking for 7th semester transcripts. Do not send transcripts unless requested to do so by a specific campus.
