Strengths and weaknesses When you carry out work you have to be able to say what strengths and weaknesses are. Think about: Format – did you use good formatting e.g. bold, underline, colour? Layout – did you put things in appropriate places? Accuracy – did you spell check your work? Structure – did your work make sense and have clear titles etc? Quality – did you make sure your work was high quality? Who the audience is – does your work match the audience it is meant for?

Improvements When you carry out IT work you also need to think about how you might be able to improve work. Think about: Correcting mistakes using things like spelling and grammar checkers Finding quicker ways of doing things so you can be more efficient Having effective filing systems – saving things with good file names in sensible folders Learning new skills or techniques to make your work better Improving formatting techniques and using them appropriately (bold, colours, etc.)
