2. 1.1Why did you use a computer? What other systems / resources could you have used? I used a computer because it had the resources and websites we needed to make the PowerPoint and it was easier to find out about the stuff and resources I needed than anything else. I could of used a book or I could of went up to the front of the class and just speak I you could of wrote it down on a piece of paper or instead of doing all that stuff listed before I could of used or done something creative such as drawing, painting or making something but all of these creative ideas would be a waste because I would run out of resources quickly and it would be faster on a computer, so overall that is why I used a computer because it is much faster and it is so much easier to use and understand.

3. 1.2What skills did you need to learn in order to use PowerPoint? The skills I needed to learn in order to use PowerPoint is a just some ICT skills and I needed to be creative at writing and just making and designing my PowerPoint really. Also another skill I needed to use the PowerPoint is that to make it look more appeasing and make it just right for the right viewer, such as if it was a kid like under the age of 10 you could like make it more colourful with animations and pictures or something like that and try and make it more understandable. But if it was for someone over that age you could add more information to the PowerPoint instead of adding more pictures and making it colourful. Another skill you also need is some knowledge of how to use the internet because maybe you might need to get some pictures or you might need to get information of there in case you need help.

4. 1.2What resources did you need to make the presentation successful? The resources we used to help make our presentation successful was the internet because we needed it to get images and information for our PowerPoint if we couldn’t get them of any other PowerPoints or anywhere else. We also get the resources such as images videos and animations out of the Shared area. Or if there was any information that we needed which you couldn’t find on the internet or in the shared area you could just ask your teacher for their help and they may help you with the thing you need to find out about.

5. 1.4What factors might have affected how well you completed the presentation? (e.g. time / attendance / knowledge of software) The factors that might have affected how I done the presentation would have to be time because I could have been of ill or something like that and that would of affected how quick I would of done the presentation. And also another factor would have to be attendance because if I wasn’t here I would have to catch up with all the missed work and I probably wont do as good because I wont know what to do if I was never here because the teacher wouldn’t of been able to tell me that much as they did the first time.

6. 1.6Why did you use PowerPoint to make your presentation? What other software was available? Why did you choose not to use them? I chose PowerPoint to make my presentation because it was much easier to understand and use than all the other software such as Word, publisher, excel and also access. The reason why I did not chose to use any of these other software was because as I said at the start it was much easier to understand and use and plus there are slides on a PowerPoint so you can add different bits of information on each of the slides on there such as pictures on one slide, videos on one slide and also information on some others so that is why I used PowerPoint.

7. 2.2Which tools within PowerPoint made it appropriate for your presentation? I used the design tool because it made my Presentation look very professional and neat I also used the insert tool which was WordArt and made my Presentation look Very nice and it also made my Presentation right for the target group and the WordArt is used was quite big so it was easy to see and read. Another tool I used within my Presentation to make it appropriate was The animations because it made my Presentation again right and understandable to the target group but it also made my presentation look very creative. Another Tool I used in my presentation was Transitions which made my presentation very decent and very nice because every time I changed slide when I pressed f5 and was in slide show mode I changed the way it changed from slide to slide.

8. 1.7Were there any legal constraints or local constraints that changed the way you created your presentation? (e.g. copyright, file sizes, AUP) There were legal constraints which I used in my presentation which was that I get images and animations of the internet which I then put down on my presentation where I got the images and animations from and I never got permission to use some of the stuff I got. And the video I used was the right size to put onto my presentation and I got it out of the shard area with permission to do that so it wasn’t really copyright to be honest. Also another thing is that I read the terms and conditions also known as AUP also known as Agreeable Use Policy and I read the rules instead of getting straight on with the thing I was doing and then just skipping it.

9. 2.4What improvements do you think you could do to your presentation? The improvements I think I could of done to my Presentation would have to be ass more images and animations because I don't think I added the right amount I should have and another think I should of improved with my presentation would have to be add more information and maybe add more slides to add the extra bit of information as well because that way the target audience who read it would have had a more and clear understanding of the presentation then instead of not being able to read it and not being able to benefit of it. I also could of added more colour to my presentation because then it would have been clear and understandable to the target audience I set it to which I think for children or it was either teachers and parents/Guardians.

10. 3.2What improvements do you think you could have done to improve your work rate? (keyboard shortcuts, file names & locations, backups, work after school, templates, planning) The improvements I could make to improve my work rate would be to not chat to the person next to me because that would slow my work rate down and another improvements I could make would have to be not play games during the lesson because that would also stop me from doing work most of the time, Also another improvements I could also make would have to be store and name my files in a appropriate place where I would remember where I put them so I could open my work faster instead of waiting and trying to find it for like five or ten minutes and I would also have to name it of something that I would remember and also store it in a appropriate folder I that I will know where I put it such as if I was naming this PowerPoint I would call it Unit 1 – Improving Productivity and also I would put the PowerPoint in folder called IT.
