2. 1.1Why did you use a computer? What other systems / resources could you have used? I used a computer because you have better standards its neat and tidy. If you make a mistake you don’t have to cross it of and make it look scruffy but you would with paper. I also used the computer because you can lay you work out and have it the way you like you can also have design,transitions,animtons, slide show, review and format it has helped me a lot as I'm not very good on computers and don’t understand what to do on them put with using powerpoint I can understand what to do and know this unit like the back of my hand. Using a computer means I can save my work and back to it later. Also the internet maded it better to search things rather than get a book.

3. 1.2What skills did you need to learn in order to use PowerPoint? Skills I needed are Insert pictures videos, sound and texts and play them back automatically or on click Creating hyper links Using slide master Design templates for colour scheme Transitions to make movement more entertaining on slides. Animations to also make the slide more interesting Slideshow to view the slides spell check so you don’t spell anything wrong bold, italic, underline to draw attention to words

4. 1.2What resources did you need to make the presentation successful? I needed to use a presentation program like PowerPoint to create the presentation. I also used the internet to help me fined pictures and videos extra to help make my presentation more open we also used pictures so people get a understanding on what they will get the chance to do or what you could do if you choose our school to come to. I also used videos so you can see what we do In the sports building as this school is a sports collage most this school mostly showing sports as this is a sports school.

5. 1.4What factors might have affected how well you completed the presentation? (e.g. time / attendance / knowledge of software) I think it was my attendance or for other reasons because I wake up late and miss my lessons or I'm later to lessons due to the same reason a waking up late or been distracted by other people in the lesson or outside the lesson. I also think that its because of me been late I'm not understanding what I need to do due to missing out on most of the lessons also due to not having another time to complete the work set out for me to do that means I have been missing out on my work provided.

6. 1.6Why did you use PowerPoint to make your presentation? What other software was available? Why did you choose not to use them? I choose Power Point because it is easy to us and has better slides and tools to help you do your work I could of used format because you can add vidios,photos,textboxs,word art to make the work look more interesting. I also used power point as I know how to us it as it is more recommended for me as I know how to use it but with the other ones it is more difficult and don’t know where everything I need is or even if they have it on there one so I wouldn’t no how to use it

7. 2.2Which tools within PowerPoint made it appropriate for your presentation? I think it was format because it helped me do a lot more things on the computer to make it better and improve towards my power point. I understand how to us this Power Point but on other power point I don’t really understand because they are difficult to get the hang of the but with PowerPoint I have used it from year seven till now it has been easier to use for me. I also think that format was better to use because it has more to offer such as insert,designs,and the home page witch can give you new slides and arrange you righting to your standers of how you like to type.

8. 1.7Were there any legal constraints or local constraints that changed the way you created your presentation? (e.g. copyright, file sizes, AUP) I would of change my presentation by using more pictures have allot more righting and sound videos on to make my prostitution to more stand out and have a lot more detail on it do think that I have not done another work on my presentation. In my presentation I used some pictures,animations of people but I never asked to us them so the copy may be broken I should of covered there faces to over cone breaking of date. I may need to go and ask them so I don’t have to take it further and so thay wont be any problems.

9. 2.4What improvements do you think you could do to your presentation? You could us animation's, videos,up to date photos,hyperlinks,tables of data or contended such as club meetings, rewards, donations, celebrations and extra some photos or contends with help people get a good look at what they could be doing I also think it would of helped if I stayed back after school to do more work so I had more time on it. Also would help to go on the web sight you are doing a presentation for and fined out more facks and information about your work and right them down so you can right them up in your own words.

10. 3.2What improvements do you think you could have done to improve your work rate? (keyboard shortcuts, file names & locations, backups, work after school, templates, planning) I think I could of improved my work by spending more time on it like after school, lunchtime or come early for school. I could of also spent more time on making better by re righting some things and used more tools on the computer such as format so I could but videos or photos to make the presentation a bit more better I could of also added colour to the power point to make it more colourful as my work looks plain and boring. It will also of been better to of had more time on my work cause towards to some problems
