In Sharing We Trust Marketing your Coaching/Consulting Practice Information Meetings December 2 & 3, 2008 ORGDYNE Training & Consulting, LLC www.orgdyne.com

The Notion of Sharing Selflessly You can freely share what you know with others and generate a revenue for your firm! Your clients will gladly pay you for your area of expertise, if you are sharing what you know, without an underlying expectation of getting paid! The key lies in truly “identifying” the “pain” If all this sounds corny or skeptical, then I have your attention! I too once believed that I must get paid for every piece of work that I do, until I put my trust in sharing and giving, while removing my stake from the outcome “Abandoning the desire for the fruit of our actions” is a difficult concept to get our arms around; but it works quite well if you trust in it!

ORGDYNE Training & Consulting, LLC ™ Areas of specialty include group and organizational dynamics, performance management/assessments, executive leadership coaching, systems psychodynamics applications, and online group relations ™ Pioneered the first-ever “online” group relations conference in the Tavistock tradition in 2006 Pioneered the first “online” conference integrating the group relations and NTL methodologies in 2007 Specialize in offering “applied” seminars/courses in “organizational psychodynamics” Currently spearheading the formation of the 2009 Online Executive Coaching Symposium (April, 2009) Created as a virtual organization in 2000 Our web site currently receives on average, 800-1000 hits per day

The Marketing Myth I am a “certified coach” with great credentials; I know a lot of people who I can help; they know about me, so they will approach me when they have to! I don’t want to bother people by contacting them too frequently; it will turn them off! People will hire the services of a coach/consultant when they feel the pain! I love attending courses and seminars that improve my coaching/consulting skills; if I come across as more knowledgeable and astute, clients are more likely to hire my services! I love to join many new professional networks such as LinkedIn, Naymz etc. Sooner or later, I will be approached by clients who need my services! Approaching people via the phone or online just does not work; I need to be in front of them to make a difference!

“Create” something unique or “join” something unique LinkedIn is the largest social networking site with millions of users! How many hours a week do you spend on the site? Are you familiar with all the LinkedIn features and applications, most of which are offered free of cost? How many “contacts” and “recommendations” are showcased on your LinkedIn profile? Do you regularly seek out recommendations? When was the last time you reached out to your “contacts” and either asked a question or offered a unique service? How often do you update your status or profile?

Coach Consultants Consortium An international consortium of coach consultants who are interested in creating marketing exposure for their practices, but do not have the time, expertise, or technology to pursue it consistently The consortium is being created as an extension of ORGDYNE Training & Consulting, LLC and will be launched by the end of this year Affiliation with the consortium is “loose-leaf” to begin with; there are no contracts or legal documents to sign; you continue to work your own practice, but have a new marketing resource to turn to for support and joint projects Once we agree to affiliate, we will invite you to send us your “bio”, picture, and publications which will be posted to a specially created page on our web site. We will prominently showcase links to your own firm and/or web site. Leads come directly to your email address (you are provided with a new orgdyne.com email extension which points to your own email address) Our affiliation will be announced in ORGDYNE’s communities of practice, worldwide. You may also communicate this to your own communities and clients

Coach Consultants Consortium Open discussion What’s in it for you? -Immediate marketing exposure on a highly visible online portal -Access to a support group of “shadow consultants” and peers -Focus on “generating revenue” through new and innovative marketing tools (online seminars, conferences, courses) -Expertise on leveraging social networking sites such as LinkedIn -On-demand access to our technology platform (web conferences/meetings, online bulletin boards, teleconference bridge) -Opportunity to increase your revenue by participating in the consortium’s joint projects What does it cost? What’s in it for ORGDYNE Training & Consulting, LLC?

Next Steps Please contact us at orgdyne@gmail.com if you are interested or need more clarification After the affiliation fee is paid, we will invite the consortium group members to a newly created online community of practice, where we will begin deliberating on our upcoming project: 2009 Online Executive Coaching Symposium (tentatively planned for April of 2009)

Thanks for your time!
