 Fully comprehensive travel insurance is provided for our trip.  For further details please view  All students will need to have their own European Health Insurance Card (EHIC). EHIC cards can be applied for online free of charge by visiting the following website;

 PGL Chateau de Grande Romaine

 Groups and rooming will be decided once we receive our room allocation.  Students will sleep in rooms of up to 4/ or up to 8

Breakfast and Evening meal are both buffet style with a range of hot and cold choices. Packed lunches will be provided Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Spending money will be collected in before we depart. Money should be in a separate envelope for each day and marked with the students name.

The amount of money that students take is at parents discretion. In the past we have recommended a maximum of Monday - £5 and €5 Tuesday - €10 Wednesday - €20 Thursday - €20 Friday - £10

 Paris trip or school polo shirts to be worn whilst travelling and on Paris visit day.  Clothing for each day – At least 1 long sleeved top  Swim wear (must be proper swimming trunks, not shorts, for boys, this is a legal requirement in France)  Towel  Personal Toiletries – No aerosols  Sunscreen (and hat)  Insect repellent and bite treatment  Medication  Cameras, iPOD, handheld computer game to use whilst travelling (please note that these items are brought at your own risk and school will not accept any responsibility for them)  As with all Codsall Middle School residential trips, mobile phones must not be taken.

 The school buildings will not be open on Monday morning when we meet.  We will not be able to access medication that is normally kept at school.  Please ensure that any medication is brought from home or collected from school on Friday.  There will also be no access to toilets at school.

 Medical forms to be returned as soon as possible and not later than 24 th June 2016  If there is any change to the information that you have provided on medical forms please let Mrs Machin or Mrs Llewellyn know.  Where possible children will be responsible for their own inhalers, travel sickness pills and other medications. For more complex medications please discuss with Mrs Machin or Mrs Llewellyn before departure.  If your child is unwell on the day of departure do not let them travel. Ensure you get a doctors note so a claim on the travel insurance can be made.

 We will be travelling on two coaches provided by Ellisons Travel.  English Channel crossings will be on Eurotunnel.  Eating and drinking will not be allowed on the coaches, with the exception of bottled drinking water.  We will not be allowing students to purchase sweets, chocolates, fizzy drinks or junk food during our service station breaks as this may have unpleasant consequences for the rest of the journey.  Chewing gum will not be allowed throughout the trip.
