Please be assured that we will telephone you if necessary. I-pods etc. – No electrical games including personal computer games or music players are permitted as there is no time to use them and they could get damaged and no expensive watches please. No aerosols please as they can set off the fire alarms.

5 Activities The children are split into four groups, each with a teacher. A PGL instructor will lead each activity. Extra staff are at each of the activities that need them. All children are encouraged to do all the activities. Activities include, zip wire, giant swing, climbing wall, archery, rifle range, trapeze, high ropes, raft building, canoeing etc.

6 Food! All dietary requirements are catered for (consent form)
Cereals and cooked breakfasts, beans on toast, pizza and chips, jacket potatoes, wraps, sandwiches, spaghetti Bolognese etc. Drinks and fruit throughout the day. All eat together in the same dining room so chance to meet up during the day too.

7 Medicines Please have all medical forms handed into the office before Monday 29th April (these will be sent out closer to the time). On the day of departure, please hand any medicines to Miss Hyde. Medicines should be in a bag with your child’s name on both the bag and the medicine. Please write clearly what the dosage should be each day.

8 Journey and pocket money
Children arrive to school no later than 12.30pm on Monday 20th May. They should have had their lunch before they come to school and be dressed appropriately. If dry, bags can be left on the grass outside the Year 1 classroom. If wet, they can be left in Miss Butler’s classroom. The coach will leave at 1pm. Parent’s will be informed of our safe arrival at PGL. We will use the Twitter feed to update what we have been up to on a daily basis. We should return to school by 3.15pm on Friday. If we are going to be late, we will let you know. Children will be allowed £1 a day pocket money to spend in the tuck shop. Please could you put £4 separate £1 bags in a named envelope. We keep their money safe so it makes our job easier when handing out their money at the tuck shop. If you would like your child to buy a gift on the last day, the can have £5 extra. Again, we will look after the money but please write clearly on the envelope how much extra they have been given to spend. Please can all tuck shop money be handed into the office by Monday 29th April.

9 Bedrooms Dorm room allocation will be sorted closer to the trip.
Rooms have from 4 beds up to 8 beds in each room with a bathroom. Will ask the children who they want to be with and will arrange the best we can to accommodate everyone. Children will not find out their dorm rooms until we arrive at PGL. One member of staff is in each corridor.

10 Finally! Thank you for coming
