1.ABSTRACT: In this system, a new sewage flow remote monitoring system over GPS is presented, which monitors the sewage flow parameter remotely in real time. In the proposed system, GPS network is adopted as the wireless sensor network, and the data between the slave computer and the remote terminal are transmitted via the GPS. The system is easy to implement and has a high degree of automation, by which the acquisition, transmission and processing of the sewage flow data can be achieved in wireless, networked and intelligent manners.

2.OBJECTIVES: “ To save water from overflow of sewage.“

METHODOLOGY: This proposed work is an attempt to design a sewage over flow unit that uses the global positioning system to determine the precise location of a overflow to which it is attached and using GSM modem this information can be transmit to remote user. This system contains single- board embedded system that is equipped with GPS and GSM modems along with ARM processor. During object motion, its location can be reported by SMS message. A software package is developed to read, process, analyze and store the incoming SMS messages. The use of GSM and GPS technologies allows the system to track overflow location.

The IR transmitter transmits the IR signals continuously,IR receiver receives continuously if any overflow of sewage the breaks in community of IR TX & IR RX signal then it gives the signal to the ARM, then the ARM will send the information & co-ordinates which read from GPS location of overflow to receiving station through GSM which is in Municipality office. At the same time ARM will generate the out put that is fed to buffer IC 4050,buffer stores and given to the driver IC 2003 in driver current will amplifies and voltage will inverts with the help of Darlington circuit of driver IC to drive the relay. Then signal is given to the output load for indication purpose.

5. ADVANTAGES & DISADVANTAGES:  ADVANTAGES: 1. Prevent pollution and promote reuse and recycling 2.Reduce priority and toxic chemicals in products and waste; and 3.Conserve energy and materials

 DISADVANTAGES: In this project usage of relays leads to consume more power.

6.APPLICATIONS: 1.Hydraulic and water quality monitoring of water transmission and distribution systems (this also includes capturing fast pressure transient events). 2.Remote acoustic leak detection including remote cross-correlation. 3.Monitoring the water level in sewer collectors and combined sewer outflows.

7.CONCLUSION: We achieved our objective without any hurdles i.e. To save water from overflow of sewage.
