Curriculum 100 Book Challenge Incentive Reading Program Students read on individual level (Fast,Fun,Easy!) Initial reading log each night (read for 15 minutes) Types of reading that count… *you reading to your child *your child pretending to read using the pictures *your child reading to you School Goal for the year is 250 Steps!!!

Learning Expectations By the END of Kindergarten your child should be able to… Count to 100 Add and subtract fluently within 5 Read a book on their level (C) Write more than one sentence using capitals and punctuation Read and spell all popcorn words Identify all uppercase and lowercase letters and produce letter sounds Segment and blend sounds to read and make words Three Report Cards starting with 2nd Marking Period Conferences at end of 1st Marking Period…as needed after that
