TECHNOLOGIC COMMUNICATION

HOW TECHNOLOGICAL COMMUNICATION USED TO BE TEN YEARS AGO. Technological communication was no where near were it is today 10 years ago. Ten years ago you could barely afford a HD 32 inch box TV. Now those are cheaper than an iPhone 6. The main source of technological communication ten years ago was . Even then wasn’t that popular. More people would mail than send s. Cell phones were not very good 10 years ago. Back then people used land lines and wall phones more than cell phones. They didn’t have a good way of keeping peoples numbers in their phones back then so they used phone books to keep track of people, their names and phone numbers.

HOW TECHNOLOGICAL COMMUNICATION NOW AFFECTS YOUR EVERYDAY LIVES. Now whenever you want to make arrangements with your friends you can call them or text them to arrange plans, ten years ago you had to walk to their house if they did not have a phone because not everyone had a landline, wall phone, or cellphone. Technological communication has affected your life massively, say you work at Walmart and it is a blizzard outside and decide to go to work 10 years ago. But your shift has been cancelled because of the blizzard, if you did not own or a phone you would not know what to do unless you got to your work place which is dangerous. Now you can easily check via a website, , phone, text, social media, etc.

TECHNOLOGIC COMMUNICATION IN SCHOOL. Technologic communication in school…. Riverside. Riverside is a technology based school. Without technology at riverside. I don’t know what this school would be like. How are you reading this right now? Through technology that’s how. Without technology I would have to make a poster or something and make everything by hand. Thanks to technology this school is how it is. Ten Years ago if I attended this school it would be a lot harder to use technology to get things done. Such as math equations and then to it to my teacher through a file. That is very difficult.

ANSWERS What do you feel has been the biggest change in how people in your community or around the world live in your lifetime? Why? we find the biggest change in our society over the past decade has definitely been technological communication, technological communication has had a massive affect on the world, it has helped people communicate all over the world, it has helped people arrange plans etc. All though technological communication is helpful it isn’t all helpful, some parts of it is bad, social media for instance if you say one stupid thing and one popular account shares it with people, soon it goes viral and you’re a laughing stock over one stupid thing you said. Is the change temporary or long-term? How do you know? this change is long term because change is already happening with technological communication and it can only get better, soon they will have holographic phone calls, advanced audio, etc. I know because looking in the past and where we are today all I have seen is improvements to technological communication, so I do not see why they would give up on what they have worked so hard at to achieve all of these years. In your opinion, is the change good for society or not? How could it be made better? these changes in society have both been good and bad as I said in previous paragraphs some downsides are social media conflicts, some good things are being able to communicate across the world, it could get better if their was holographic phone calling but that will come eventually
