Holistic concept of Health WHO’s definition: -Physical health -Mental health -Emotional health -Social health -Spiritual health Not merely the absence of disease.

Fitness The capacity to carry out everyday activities(work and play )without excessive fatigue and with enough energy in reserve for emergencies.

Health-related Fitness It refer to those aspects of physiological and psychological functioning which are believed to offer some protection against degenerative type disease.

Degenerative type disease Coronary heart disease Obesity Various musculoskeletal disorders.

Component of health-related fitness Cardio-respiratory endurance Muscular strength and endurance Body composition Flexibility

Sport-related Fitness It refers to the qualities of body function that provide the individuals with the motor abilities. It is essential to work and sports skills. This aspect fitness is acquired through physical training and elements are involved It should be built on good health-related fitness.
