Health-Related Components of Fitness 1.Cardio respiratory endurance 2.Muscular Endurance 3.Muscular Strength 4.Flexibility 5.Body Composition

1. Cardiorespiratory Endurance Ability of the heart, lungs, and blood vessels to use and send fuel and oxygen to the body Long periods of moderate to vigorous activity

Examples??? Basketball Soccer Other???

2. Muscular Endurance Ability of the muscles to perform physical tasks over a period of time without becoming fatigued

Skill-Related Components of Fitness 1.Agility 2.Coordination 3.Reaction Time 4.Power 5.Speed 6.Balance

1. Agility THE ABILITY TO CHANGE DIRECTION ACCURATELY AND QUICKLY. In what type of activities is agility important? –In GAMES ACIVITIES this is a very important factor.

2. Coordination THE MIXING OF DIFFERENT ABILITIES INTO A SMOOTH EXECUTION OF A TASK. –It can include hand-eye co-ordination in catching a ball or eye-foot co-ordination in kicking a ball. In what type of activities is coordination important?
