 Listen when others are talking  Follow directions  Keep, hands, feet and objects to yourself  Work quietly and do not disrupt others  Show respect for school and personal property  Work and play in a safe manner

 Red-Outstanding  Orange-Great Job  Yellow-Good Job  Ready to learn  Blue-Think about it  Purple-Teachers choice  Pink-Call parents

 Merry Go Round Must be seated at all times and hold on  Monkey Bars No sitting on top, must not play chicken (holding each other with legs & trying to throw off)  Slide Go up the stairs and down the slide while seated feet first. One person at a time. No jumping off the top.  Swings Must be seated - one person at a time swinging forward. No jumping off or twirling, no running through or kicking sand.

 No contact sports (no tackling or excessive touching)  Must be respectful, responsible and safe at all times.  Stay away from foreign objects, people and animals. Report problem to an adult and they will take care of it.  Ask a teacher to get a ball if it goes over the fence.  Don’t climb on the windows  No playing tag on the playground equipment  No one is allowed on the picnic tables under the canopy

 Will not go outside if the temperature is 25 degrees (this includes the wind chill).  Teachers may take classes out for a few minutes for fresh air.  Whistles: 1-Students stop what they are doing 2- Line up- Recess is over 3- Crisis- Go to designated area, listen for teacher to say situation inside or outside.

 If it is an emergency just go  If the teacher is in the middle of teaching you do not go  When you leave you move your name down to bathroom  Only 1 boy and 1 girl at a time.

 There is a box with sharpened pencils and a box with unsharpened pencils.  The teacher will have a student sharpen pencils at the end of the day.  No one will sharpen pencils except the student that is assigned to sharpen.  Do not ask to sharpen pencils because the answer will be no.

 Straight line  Facing forward  Hands behind the back  Voices off  Anytime we are in line you will need to be standing or sitting this way.

 Line up in ABC order  Walk on the black line  Whisper while eating  After eating sit down in line where the teacher asks you to sit.  Sit quietly and wait for recess  If you have to go to the bathroom raise your hand and ask.  When going out to recess, you need to walk quietly down the hallway.

 Get homework, put it away and write in agendas  Get mail out of mailboxes  Stack chairs  Pick up trash  Sit by the rocking chair without backpacks  We will talk about behavior and homework  Line up quietly  When you leave tell the teacher

 Students will write their name on the board when they need to go to the library  Students will take passes  We will use the Goldilocks strategy when picking books  Ask the teacher or librarian for help if you need it.

 On you paper you will always put your name, number and date. If these are not on there the paper will not be graded and will be thrown away.  Name, Number  Date  Example:  Mrs. Dizmang #23  August 11, 2010
