3. Gate 4 Hill-off limits. Gate 3 Gate 2 Gate 1 Lamp Post This corner is OFF LIMITS. * BOUNDRY LINE* The West Field Is OFF LIMITS. East FieldWest Field The East Field is our Recess Playfield. 6. Big Toy & New Big Toy Rules No RUNNING OR TAG on the toys or in the barked areas. ALL running games MUST be on the field! All games are NO CONTACT. Be courteous. If others are waiting to get on a toy, please limit your time to two minutes.

7. Slides Go down the slide feet first on your bottom. We only go down the slide, not up the slide. No jumping off the slides. Only ONE person on the slide at a time.

8. The Web DO: Climb and sit on red ropes DON’T: Hang upside down or jump off

9. The Spinning Things Be Safe! Please don’t lift students onto spinners or push them. Also…no sitting on top of the spinning toys.

10. Spool Spinner DO: Stand or sit and spin by yourself – ONE person at a time DON’T: Spin or push others

11. Umbrella Spinner DO: Use the umbrella spinner with six students max. Make sure you are respectful and take turns.

12. Oval Spinner DO: Spin by yourself - ONE student at a time Stand only on the bottom bar and sit on the center bar

13. Zigzag Ladder DO: Have fun on the zigzag ladder and build balancing skills DON’T: Jump off. You could get hurt!

14. Mushrooms & Rings DO: Use your hands Swing across only Walk ONLY from one mushroom to the next. Please don’t… Climb through the rings. Hang upside down

15. The Rock Wall DO: Climb safely DON’T: Jump off the top of the rock wall Push others off the rock wall

16. The Lower Playground DO: WALK on all Black Top areas. Use balls for Four Square and Wall Ball You may run when playing Basket or Wall Ball. DON’T: Kick any balls on the lower playground.

17. Blacktop Games DO: Play Wall Ball, Foursquare, and Tetherball. Follow the rules posted on the windows opposite the tetherball area

18. Gate 4 – This is the only gate used DO: Exit through this gate and use the walkway

19. Find a supervisor immediately if… …you or another student is injured. …you are being bullied or harassed or if you witness this behavior. …you see unsafe behavior. Ask a Supervisor if… …you need to enter the building for any reason. (Bathroom, water fountain, office, health room) ***YOU MUST HAVE A PASS*** …your ball goes over the fence, we will unlock a gate to retrieve it.

20. When the bell rings… Stop playing, return any play equipment to to the bins and WALK to your line. You should be in line an quiet by the 2 nd bell, ready to return to class.

21. Emergency Whistle When the whistle blows 3 times “FREEZE” and stop talking. LISTEN carefully for an adult to give directions and follow them.
