2 Hallway Expectations Be Safe Be Respectful Be Responsible
WALK at all times and stay on the sidewalk. Quietly walk through the hallways. Stay in line facing forward. Keep hands, feet and objects to yourself. Stop, look, and listen when spoken to by adults. Leave a space between you and others in line. Use a hall pass. Be courteous by allowing others to pass. Keep the halls clean. Pick up trash.

3 Playground Expectations
Be Safe Be Respectful Be Responsible WALK on the blacktop and near equipment areas. Stop, look, and listen when spoken to by adults. Freeze at the bell and wait for the signal to walk to your line. Use equipment safely (slides, bars, swings). No games of tag or play fighting. Use respectful language with adults and with other classmates when you disagree. Return all equipment to the appropriate area when you line up. Keep your hands and feet to yourself. Do not walk in the middle of any game on the blacktop or field. Take turns and allow others to join in games. Follow the rules of the game. Stand quietly in line and wait for your teacher.

4 Restroom Expectations
Be Safe Be Respectful Be Responsible WALK to and from the restroom. Give others privacy. Put paper towels and other trash in the trashcan. Keep water and soap off the floor. Wait your turn. Use soap carefully and wash your hands. Report problems: sink/toilet/graffiti. Use quiet voices. Flush the toilet.

5 Cafeteria Expectations
Be Safe Be Respectful Be Responsible Eat your own food or Snack. (No sharing) Listen to adults. Wait your turn and get your own lunch card. Tell an adult if you notice a spill. Use good manners-Say “please” and “thank you” Clean up your area and throw away all trash. WALK at all times. Eat and talk quietly. Keep all food in the cafeteria.

6 Computer and Library Expectations
Be Safe Be Respectful Be Responsible Keep food and drinks out of the library and the computer lab. Quietly enter both the library and the computer lab. Return books on time to the library. Use the computer appropriately. Check out books by using a bookmark. Return headphones to their place on the computer and push in your chair before you exit. Ask for help and wait your turn. Follow the librarian and teacher’s directions at all times. Follow the district’s internet code of conduct. Use the Internet for school work only. Use quiet voices. Log off the computer appropriately so that it is ready for the next class.
