Facebook is national security threat

A new list of rules announced Thursday aims to prevent soldiers and Defense Ministry employees from revealing classified information on social networking sites. The officials say some soldiers have uploaded pictures of themselves with classified equipment, inadvertently revealing sensitive information. The rules allow soldiers to create pages on networking sites as long as they do not identify themselves as soldiers or reveal information about what they do. They spoke on condition of anonymity because the rules have not been officially published.

 Reportedly, the cheerleaders were upset with the young girl after she posted alleged trash talking on her MySpace page, so they took it upon themselves to make a video beating her to place on MySpace and YouTube which is stated to be one of five beatings given to her.

Definition: A frequent, chronological publication of personal thoughts and Web links. Information: A blog is often a mixture of what is happening in a person's life Thousands of people use services such as Blogger to simplify and accelerate the publishing process. Blogs are alternatively called web logs or weblogs. However, "blog" seems less likely to cause confusion, as "web log" can also mean a server's log files.

FACEBOOK  A social networking site founded in 2004 by Mark Zuckerberg. It initially targeted Harvard students, but was later opened to other universities and then high schools. In 2006, Facebook allowed everyone to join and also added a News Feed feature that would broadcast changes in members' pages to all Facebook users identified in their personal network of friends. It turned Facebook into a personalized social news service.

MYSPACE  Originally founded as a venue for aspiring musicians and bands to share music and concert dates, MySpace has grown into a complex site where users can create profiles, including photographs, blogs, music or movie preferences. Other features of the site include chat rooms, forums, classified ads, newsgroups and a venue for sharing videos or music.
