Welcome to Latin I Magister Riggs

Salve! I want your Latin experience to be the very best possible. I want your Latin experience to be the very best possible. That requires that we have a few rules. That requires that we have a few rules. Be on time. Be on time. Be on task Be on task Be respectful of others Be respectful of others

A word to the wise… In any new situation it takes a little time to adjust. Latin is a great language but can be a little overwhelming at first. Don’t worry you will soon get the hang of it. I do want to say that in Latin getting behind can be quite dangerous to your grade. Latin adds up day by day. What we learn today is often based on what we learned yesterday or last week. There is no starting over point. Of course you can go back and catch up on what you missed, but it’s easier to just stay up to date in the first place.

Technology We will be using various technology in this class both online and offline. We will be using various technology in this class both online and offline. It is up to you to complete the work assigned for a specific period. If you can do it all in class (and most of you should be able to) that’s great! If not then you need to assign yourself that homework. Homework policy: I don’t do homework except for Quia and even that doesn’t have to be done at home.
