Who’s Who?! Ms.Tilghman   My room before school (7:30-8am) or after school (2:45-4pm), Mon-Fri  Sat by appt only  Lunch does NOT work for me! Ms.Hanks The IES workroom /27/2015

Classroom Procedures On-time + On-task=On point! Students are EXPECTED to show up on time to class! If you are late for ANY reason, it is YOUR responsibility to complete any/all missed material

10/27/2015 Classroom Procedures Now that YOU are here, make sure you are prepared to stay on-task. You should always come to class with the following:  Pen  Paper  Your English II notebook  Current text  A positive attitude

10/27/2015 Classroom Procedures NO SUPPLIES NO WORK NO CREDIT

Classroom Policies (Music devices) Ipods/Mp3 players are NOT allowed!

Classroom Policies (Cell Phones) Cell Phones are NOT allowed in the classroom (unless given permission by a teacher). If it is out then it can be taken!  Cell phone consequences for the entire quarter: 1 st offense=verbal warning put into Verify 2 nd offense=phone turned over to a DEAN *A teacher will ask only 1 time!

If you pick up a phone call in class then you will be AUTOMATICALLY removed from the classroom environment! If it is an emergency then your family members will call the school!

Passes No locker, bathroom, or water passes will be issued… come to class prepared! Use your 4 minute passing period wisely!

Permission Slips/Grade Cards If you are failing this class, then do NOT expect a signature! Leave the slip/grade card on my desk and I will get it back to you by the end of class NO WORK=NO SIGNATURE You are responsible for completing and turning in any missing work in a timely fashion

Teacher Time 1 st offense=a 20-minute session Five (5) minutes is added for each additional offense of the same behavior. Any second offense of another inappropriate behavior will result in a separate 20-minute session. Starts at 2:45pm Tardiness is NOT accepted! Failure to attend teacher time or complete activities associated with teacher time will result in After School Personal Development (ASPD)

10/27/2015 Grading Grades are what YOU earn! Don’t wait till the end of the quarter to care about your grade, everyday in class is an opportunity to INCREASE your average!
