Why do people behave the way they do? What causes different people to react differently to the same situation? Why are some organizations more successful than others, even though they appear to be managed in the same manner? All of these questions – and more – are the substance of what organizational behaviour is all about.

Three important features about OB….  OB is the study of human behaviour.  The study is about behaviour in organizations.  Knowledge about human behaviour would be useful in improving an organization’s effectiveness.

Definition of Organization Behaviour  Is a field of study with a common body of knowledge.  It studies three determinants of behaviour in organizations. They are individuals, groups and structures.
