Meet Mrs. Thoresen… 15 th year of teaching 7th year at Briarwood Went to WSU /graduated from WWU Masters degree in Education with endorsements in Special Ed. and ELL Married 16 years Two children, Jacob (8 th grader at Maywood) & Jaxson (3 rd grader in Mrs. van Heuven’s class)

Mystery Reader… One of the most fun ways to volunteer… Surprise your child and read his/her favorite book/s to the class Anyone can do it… Grandma, Grandpa, Mom, Dad, etc. Great way to get to know your child’s class! Birthday???? If interested, please sign up tonight or the teachers to set up a date and time!
