What is an Interactive Notebook?  A place where all of your work will be kept Notes Class work (most of it)  A record of what you’ve learned this year  Your own personalized textbook!  A part of your AVID grade!!!

Why Do We Use an Interactive Notebook?  Uses both the right and left hemispheres of the brain  Sort, categorize and remember information  Creatively interact with new knowledge  The MORE you process, the MORE you understand and the LONGER you retain the information  What you’ve learned over the course of the year, all in one place!
