4 WHAT IS AN INTERACTIVE NOTEBOOK?

5 PURPOSE  Be a creative, independent and reflective thinker, writer, and historian throughout the year.  Express your own ideas and process and/or apply the information and skills learned in this class.

7 RIGHT SIDE  The Right side belongs to Mrs. Noom  The Right side has all “testable” information  The Right side will include  Date  Title (if applicable) and page number  Vocabulary  Class reading and discussion notes  Worksheets  Table of contents  Study guides  Quizzes  Content objectives  Other relevant information

11 SUPPLIES YOU WILL NEED EVERY DAY IN CLASS!  180 page spiral notebook (that STAYS in class)  Colored pencils  Glue stick/ tape is okay  Scissors  highlighter

12 MAINTAINING THE INTERACTIVE NOTEBOOK  No ripped out pages or torn corners.  No doodling that doesn’t relate to notes.  Date, title and number each page.
