4 What is an Interactive Notebook?
A personalized textbook A working portfolio – all of your notes, classwork, quizzes – in one convenient spot.

5 Left Side – Right Side Orientation
The Left side is “left” for you. This is the side that you can use to show me your creativity. There are a few “Required” items that must be on that page. The Right side is “Restricted” and contains teacher guided notes. Nothing else should be placed on the Right side!!

6 Left Side The left side belongs to you. It contains your warm-up and the day’s activity. On this page you may include diagrams, cartoons, drawings, poems, foldables, etc. Odd Pages

7 Left Side Beginning of Class
Top of the Page will be your “Learning Goal” End of Class Proof: What evidence can you tell me/show me that proves you learned something. (score yourself from 1-3) Vocabulary: Define in your own words Reflection: This will be a reflection on the assignment. This is where your creativity really gets to come alive.

32 Your Homework... Make sure you have your TITLES at the top of each page to help you to remember what you need to PASTE Complete your AUTHOR’S PAGE and the COVER of your INB Both are DUE ON Monday. You can do these on a separate piece of paper and paste them into/onto your notebook.
