The School Day 9.00am School starts Children can come in between 8.45 and 9am to classroom – Break time – Lunch time 1.50pmSchool finishes for P1 For the first few weeks P1 stay until 12pm School dinners or packed lunches? Dinners cost £2.30 a day.

Curriculum and homework Revised Curriculum – 6 Areas of Learning Language and Literacy Mathematics and Numeracy The Arts (Art, Drama, Music) The World Around Us (Geography, History, Science) Personal Development and Mutual Understanding Physical Education Also teach RE throughout the school/assembly Homework – given to each class; combination of reading, written activities, practical activities and spelling. Parent Teacher Association (PTA) With a child/children at the school, you can become a member of the PTA. Committee meets around twice a term Main areas of support; - school fairs - social events for parents - fundraising activities - support in school ie library, Christmas
