The School Day 9.00am School starts Children can come in between 8.45 and 9am to classroom – Break time – Lunch time 1.50pmSchool finishes for P1 For the first few weeks P1 stay until 12pm School dinners or packed lunches? Dinners cost £2.30 a day.

Curriculum and homework Revised Curriculum – 6 Areas of Learning Language and Literacy Mathematics and Numeracy The Arts (Art, Drama, Music) The World Around Us (Geography, History, Science) Personal Development and Mutual Understanding Physical Education Also teach RE throughout the school/assembly Homework – given to each class; combination of reading, written activities, practical activities and spelling. Admissions Criteria and Process Enrolment number (i.e. total enrolment permitted) Admission number – 30 (i.e. total admissions permitted to P1) In the event of the school being oversubscribed, preference will be given to those children of compulsory school age (i.e. for P1, children born on or between 2 July 2009 and 1 July 2010): with a brother or sister* currently in attendance at the school whose brother or sister* previously attended the school. children of permanent paid staff at the school.
