4  Tuesday 14 th June  5 weeks  Every Tuesday afternoon 1.30 – 2.30pm  Focus: Talk for Writing – Traditional Stories  Story telling and story making Transition Sessions

5 Opposite end of school Where Key Stage 1 used to be Individual classroom doors (labels on the outside to help you) Senior member of staff with registers on first day to guide you Expansion – location of year group

6  If it is possible to rehearse end of day release form new classes before we finish for the summer, we will do so. Parent Voice

7  Staffing is to be confirmed, but children will remain in same class groups.  Letters to confirm ASAP. Staffing

12 Programmes of study for each subject area Learning is deepened in each programme of study – (stages 1, 2, 3, 4) across KS1. Assessment of N.C.

13  September 2016:  Monday 5 th September teacher training  Children start back Tuesday 6 th September Organisation

14  Final week all children will be given a ‘home challenge’ by their new teacher to develop over the summer holidays  Homework –  Each week: Literacy, Numeracy  Reading  Mental Maths and Spellings Home challenge

15  Meals are provided for all KS1 children. However, if you are eligible for free school meals, please ensure that you apply for this service as we receive extra funding for the children’s education  Entitled to FSM register - letter from the office School Meals

17 Boys: grey trousers, tie, maroon jumper or school sweatshirt, grey socks and black shoes Girls: grey skirt, pinafore or tailored trousers, tie, maroon jumper of school sweatshirt or cardigan, black shoes P.E. Kits – outdoor and indoor – white t-shirt, black shorts, black pumps PLEASE NAME ALL UNIFORM ITEMS NO jewellery – only stud earrings School Uniform
