Recall After your done studying take everything that you have learned and put it in your own words that way it is easier to remember.

Digest Go back to information you do not understand, if you still do not understand it try to use outside sources to understand it

Expand In this step you should ask your self to answer a few questions. What would you ask the author if you met them. How can I use the information in what I like.

Review Go over the information again because you could always miss something the first time.

Test anxiety I believe if you set the right mood studying it will help you be in the right mood taking the test. If you are relaxed when you study you will be more relaxed when you take a test.
