1 Annotation: Questions
When annotating for questions, we will note the questions we have that relate to the text.

2 Annotation: Questions
There are four categories of questions we can ask: Right There: the answer is in the text, we can point right to it. Think and Search: the answer is in the text, but we have to look at a few places to piece it together. Author and Me: the answer is not in the text, but you still need information that the author gives, plus what you know, to answer. On My Own: you don’t even have to read the text to be able to answer it.

3 “A God Who Remembers” Why does Wiesel believe that he, and other survivors, must “bear witness” and tell their stories? How would Wiesel respond to our unit inquiry question: why should we care about social issues and injustice in the world?
