Make a judgement on how far the source supports the view i.e. The source fully/partially supports the view, There is a great deal of support…

5. Qd) How useful is Source D to an historian studying…?

CONTENT – What information is given by the source? What information is missing?
ORIGIN – Who made the source? When? Where?
PURPOSE – Why was this source made? What type of source is it?
Remember to explain what makes the source useful AND what limits its usefulness.
