Hampshire TEENAGE PROJECT Activities Booklet – June Edition This June we are visiting our new venue in Fareham for our activities and will be hosting a launch party as well; time to celebrate a new venue in style! We will also be continuing to have our activities in the Havant/Waterlooville area as well to accommodate young people from other areas, so that commute isn’t too much of a pain! ….However something we are all looking forward to is our play, particularly as we all have our parts and this time we will be recording it as well. We do have props for the play as well – let the play commence!

Pirates of the Caribbean – The production! Hampshire Teenage Project’s youth group have been rehearsing their lines, the characters they represent in Pirates of The Caribbean and their pirate impressions. Today will be the day our production commences and it will be recorded! We have props ready as well as our scripts, now it’s time to put it altogether for a mini amateur drama session. If you have any pirate clothing as well please do bring some along as the extras will always be put to good use. This could be anything from bandanas to big white, baggy shirts, baggy trousers, belts or even a toy parrot. For details on this activity please contact Isabella Sakias (Hampshire Teenage Project Coordinator) details provided overleaf. Broadlaw launch party! It has been on the agenda for some time – we will be trialling a new venue in Fareham for our Fareham/Gosport young people, hopefully we will also be able to expand our youth group in two areas of Hampshire by having two different venues in two key locations. For our launch in the new Fareham venue, we will be hosting a welcome party. The party will consist of a variety of games, a movie, a finger buffet and some ‘fun’ and ‘funny’ activities have been planned as well. Come and join us for our mini party and let the fun commence! You may also bring a friend for this activity +. For details on this activity please contact Isabella Sakias (Hampshire Teenage Project Coordinator) details provided overleaf. There will be no more activities this month as the Hampshire Teenage Project Coordinator is on annual leave. Isabella is due to be back for the next activity in July. We are also looking at hosting our second big trip, which will hopefully take place in July, however confirmed details will be sent out in due course. All s from parents will be responded to on my return to the office on Thursday 3 rd July. Meal & a catch up! We are heading to Port Solent this weekend, for a meal and a catch up. Hampshire Teenage Project attended a meal as a group at Deans Diner in Port Solent, so we are hoping that there will be some new choices this month for our young people. There is a ‘choose your choice’ section for this activity so please see overleaf and feel free to put down any suggestions if the restaurants from the list are not to your preference… For details on this activity please contact Isabella Sakias (Hampshire Teenage Project Coordinator) details provided overleaf.
