NOUNS IN ENGLISH Ø LOVE Ø OIL Ø SAND Ø SUGAR WITH SINGULAR, COUNTABLE NOUNS, WE CAN USE ‘’A/AN’’ A CAR A BOY A BOOK A HEDGEHOG... A=ONE (MEANING ONE) WITH UNCOUNTABLE NOUNS- WE CANNOT USE ‘’A/AN’’ Ø LOVE Ø OIL Ø SAND Ø SUGAR

NOUNS IN ENGLISH !!! In case a noun ends in ‘’-Y’’, a change will occur- ‘’Y’’ becomes ‘’I’’, and then we add the ‘’-ES’’suffix STORY, CITY….STORIES, CITIES... However, if there is a vowel preceding ‘’-Y’’ we will add –s only PLAY, BOY... WE JUST ADD –S- PLAYS, BOYS...
