Presentation transcript:

Critical reflecton: Prayer In c Juliana Falta

Question 1: How does your product use or challenge conventions and does it represent social groups? I feel my product challenges conventions by demonstrating to have a good time while you are young and free. The video represents social groups by showing a teenage boy (Alek) on a boat enjoying himself, but we lacked showing a lot of people hanging out like we had planned to.

Question 2: how does your product engage with audiences and how would it be distributed as a real media text? My product engages with audiences by showing the marinas and boats surrounding it. Teenagers these days enjoy listening to upbeat, electronica/pop music and going to the beach, which give off “artsy vibes” and I feel my video helps represent that. If this video were to be distributed, I think it would be aired on television channels such as Teen Nick or MTV.

Question 3: How did your production skills develop throughout this project? I feel my production skills improved because in the last project, we had a lot more to fix after showing the first draft. Also I feel now I know how to edit the videos on the software a lot better than I use to. The only thing I feel my group and I lacked was not really following the story board like how we planned on it being.

Question 4: How did you integrate technologies in this project? To video the film we used a video camera To edit the film we used the software Adobe Premier Pro And to post the project we used YouTube
