1. I will set the timer for 4 minutes. 2. When timer goes off, I will set it again for 1 minute for you to talk with your neighbors. 3. I will randomly call on 3 students to share how they saw the pattern and if they had an equation for it.

Objective(s): I will be able to: write expressions using vocabulary to represent each given expression. I will know I got it when: I can successfully complete at least 7 out of the 10 levels. 6.EE.A.2, 6.EE.A.2b

Language Objective By the end of the lesson, students will be able to use the language domains of reading and writing to communicate the academic math language of expressions using the right math vocabulary. Students will verbally communicate the terms of the expressions and show their understanding by writing and completing 7 out of 10 stations. Academic Math Language Vocabulary: expression, term,distribute, distributive property.
