I am trying to divide the height of the stack by the thickness of what sheet of cardboard.

8. I am going to have 36 16ths to work with, that I will put them into groups of 3. When I circle every 3, I will end up with 12 groups.
Using my model, I needed to find an equivalent denominator. I can do that with my division expression, and use unit form to see 36 ÷ 3 = 12, which is the answer I found.
