How to decline a noun!! 3 SIMPLE STEPS!!! STEP 1: Determine the declension of the noun! HOW? Look at the genitive singular ending ex. puella, puellae (f.) – girl = 1st decl. (this is the DICTIONARY FORM of a noun) STEP 2: Find the “base” of the noun HOW? Remove the genitive singular ending ex. puella, puellae (f.) – girl base = puell-

How to decline a noun, cont. STEP 3: Add the correct declension endings!!! CASE NAME SING. PL. Nom. puell puell Gen. puell puell Dat. puell puell Acc. puell puell Abl. puell puell Voc. puell puell COOL!!!
